The founder's personal story
The search that became Maverick's.
About six years ago, I began a battle with non-melanoma skin cancer. After three surgeries and approximately 45 stitches on my face to remove two basal cell carcinoma areas and one squamous cell carcinoma area, I began searching for a more natural approach to caring for my skin.
I had also undergone liquid-nitrogen treatment for a number of precancerous spots. Although it was initially helpful, some areas repeatedly returned. I began researching essential oils and experimenting on myself with different mixtures.
Three areas particularly concerned me at the time: several bumps where squamous cancer had previously been removed; a damaged area on my face that had opened and would not heal; and a spot inside the lower part of my ear that repeatedly scabbed.
I began applying the essential-oil blend I had formulated. In my personal experience, over roughly eight weeks those areas improved and have not returned. The result felt miraculous to me, and it became the inspiration to share the blend that had become so meaningful in my own routine.
I cannot guarantee results. Maverick's Miraculous Essential Oils grew from one person's experience, years of curiosity, and a belief that thoughtfully selected botanical oils can bring intention and care to an everyday skincare ritual.
